What are thermoformed aligners?

For several years now, we have been using the Invisalign® and Angel® transparent gutter methods, which are much more discreet and comfortable for our patients. Wearing custom-made aligners transforms your smile. These removable aligners will gradually correct the alignment of your teeth.

How long does a treatment take?

Every week, you will change your aligner. This gentle change will guide your teeth to the desired final position. Depending on the patient's condition, an Invisalign® or Angel® treatment lasts between 3 and 36 months. It is generally shorter as the tooth movements are calculated more precisely, thanks to a 3D simulation of the treatment.

How does the treatment work?

First visit: an initial consultation at our Schaerbeek practice will determine if you are eligible for Invisalign® or Angel® treatment. We will take impressions, photos and x-rays, as well as a complete clinical examination, in order to make an individual diagnosis.
An explanation of the treatment plan will be given to you, as well as a detailed quote.
Presentation of a 3D simulation (optional) of your orthodontic treatment, to visualise the dental movements that will be carried out progressively, as well as the expected final result.
Following the order of the custom aligners, your treatment can begin, and follow-up visits will be scheduled.
